We are a dynamic medium-sized company based in the Vulkaneifel region, more precisely in Nerdlen. Since we were founded in 2004, we have been working successfully in e-commerce with a small, dedicated team.
In addition to our location in Nerdlen, we have several warehouses throughout Germany to keep our supply chains efficient. Through partnerships all over the world, we are able to offer our customers a wide range of products and serve international markets.

Our History
The first product
Waldemar Derksen comes up with the idea of selling chrome-plated license plate holders on Ebay when registering his car.
From what was then a simple idea quickly developed into a real business. At times Waldemar Derksen sells more chrome-plated license plate holders than ATU Germany.
Foundation of Albatros International GmbH
The business, which at that time was still part-time, has now developed into a small company and so Waldemar Derksen founded Albatros International GmbH together with his partner Reinhard Neef.
The company moves its headquarters to the neighbouring town of Nerdlen, 10km away.
Registration of the trademark STAHLMANN for the tool sector.
Registration of the Arensberger trademark for mattresses and home textiles.
Registration of the Albatros trademark for SB Furniture.
Registration of the brand eXcape for the gaming sector.
Registration of the trademark Sommertal for the kitchens and household appliances sector.
Albatros International GmbH now has 10 employees and sells on more than 20 marketplaces and sales channels throughout Europe.
